John R. Joyce

John is the former Chief Financial Officer of IBM, where he also served as head of IBM Global Services and led the company's Asia-Pacific operations.

Following IBM, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at Silver Lake Partners, a global private-equity leader in technology investing, and most recently as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Silver Spring Networks, which he led through a successful IPO.

He holds a B.A. from Montclair State University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
