David Sinclair

David brings wide-ranging financial, legal and commercial expertise to transactions, with a pragmatic, practical and professional approach. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and holds the Corporate Finance qualification (CF).

Over a career spanning five decades, he has acted as principal and adviser on the raising of capital for all purposes, the purchase and sale of numerous private and public companies, listings on the UK and other exchanges, secondary placings, non-equity and structured financing, and restructurings, with transaction values up to a billion. He is the founder and chairman of a corporate finance advisory practice and continues to lead Sinclair UK Associates Chartered Accountants, where he has specialized in forensic accounting and expert-witness work.

His experience spans the UK, Europe (Greece, Poland, Hungary, the Balkans and Austria), the US and Canada, and Asia (India, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Israel), across sectors including technology and media, retail and manufacturing, resources, leisure and hotels, infrastructure, financial services, real estate, and the fine art market.
